RTA adjusts service beginning July 28

(DAYTON, OHIO)… The Greater Dayton RTA is making slight time adjustments to Routes 12, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 43 in response to driver and customer feedback, beginning Sunday, July 28, 2024. 

The following time adjustments include:

Route 12: Adjusted the southbound trip by adding one to three minutes and the northbound trip by adding two to four minutes from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Route 16: Shifted the northbound trip five minutes earlier.

Route 17:  Shifted the northbound trip two minutes later.

Route 18: Adjusted the southbound trip by adding one to three minutes and the northbound trip by adding one to two minutes from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Route 19: Adjusted the southbound trip by adding two minutes from Brandt Pike and Kitridge Road to Harshman Road and Valley Street and the northbound trip by adding one to two minutes from the South Hub to 741 and Alex Bell from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Route 43: Adjustments have been made to the southbound trips serving Amazon, P&G and Crocs to allow for better connections with the evening lineups at Wright Stop Plaza. The trip between Amazon and P&G was shortened by two minutes and the trip along I-75 from Crocs to Wright Stop Plaza was lengthened by two minutes. This will allow the buses to be at Wright Stop Plaza for the evening lineups at 6:30, 8:41 and 10 p.m.

All adjusted route times will be available to view under future schedules on RTA’s website, www.iriderta.org, starting a week prior to the service change taking effect. Future schedules can be found on each route’s page where current schedule information is located.
