The bus stops for Route 22 Southbound on Miller Lane between Benchwood and Stop 8 Road will be closed due to a detour.

(DAYTON, OHIO)… The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is gearing up to celebrate Ohio Loves Transit Week by showing customers some love and appreciation with free rides system-wide and giveaways on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, Feb. 14.
As part of the celebration, all rides will be free system-wide on Valentine’s Day. RTA employees will also be handing out free RTA swag items, such as knit caps, sunglasses, pins and suckers at Wright Stop Plaza and on various RTA routes throughout the day.
Customers can also enter to win a gift basket featuring three months’ worth of rides, RTA swag and other items by answering trivia questions on our social media pages. Also, a photo station will be set up at Wright Stop Plaza featuring our bus front. Customers are encouraged to snap a picture and share it on social media using #DYT♥TRANSIT and tagging the RTA.
Ohio Loves Transit Week, which runs from Feb. 11-17, highlights how Ohio’s public transportation systems strive to enhance mobility for all people throughout Ohio. Last year, the RTA provided 6.8 million trips, helping to create and maintain jobs that are essential in keeping our communities moving. Whether it’s taking riders to the grocery store, providing a ride to medical appointments, ensuring riders get to and from work, or other essential trips, RTA is here for you.
