(DAYTON, OHIO)… The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority’s October bus will once again be on display at this year’s American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, Oct. 12.
The bus highlights Breast Cancer Awareness Month and information on how people can donate or participate in this year’s walk. The walk starts and ends at Day Air Ballpark. The October bus will be on display and available for selfies at the halfway point located at Island MetroPark. Individuals who take photos with the bus are encouraged to share it on social media using the hashtag #RTAOctoberBus.
Following the cancer walk, the October bus will return to normal service and have occasional appearances at area touch-a-truck events for Halloween. To see where the bus will be, visit the RTA’s Facebook and Instagram pages for updates.
Dozens of RTA employees will be raising awareness by taking part in this year’s walk and customers will also notice their RTA drivers sporting pink polo shirts throughout the month.
If you would like to support the movement and participate in the walk, visit www.acsevents.org.
